Our owner, born and raised in Tallahassee, understands the area and its people better than any corporate gym or business, genuinely caring about the people and families of Tallahassee. Our coaches possess degrees in exercise physiology, psychology, or strength and hiit training certifications, along with a combined experience of over 50 years. The programming is designed to push you, featuring a dynamic blend of strength and HIIT workouts tailored for various fitness levels. Our certified coaches will encourage you to reach your potential while prioritizing safety and proper form. Our welcoming, supportive community fosters an environment where all members can succeed and achieve their goals.

What types of fitness classes do you offer, and how are they structured?

I’m new to fitness. Can I still participate in your classes or programs?

Absolutely! Our classes and programs are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, including beginners. Our coaches will guide you through each workout, ensuring safety and proper technique.

Can I try Modern Fitness before committing to a membership?

What membership options do you offer, and what's included in each?

We offer several membership options: Unlimited Classes, 3x per week, 2x per week, and Open Gym. Each membership includes different access levels and perks, such as unlimited classes, open gym access, and relevant discounts. We don’t lock people into contracts, therefore you can change your membership option at any time.

What are your operating hours, and when are classes scheduled?

Our operating hours are

Monday - Thursday:

  • 5:30am - 9:00pm

Friday:

  • 5:30am - 8:00pm

Saturday:

  • 9:00am - 6:00pm

Sunday:

  • 11:00am - 6:00pm

At Modern Fitness, we offer an extensive array of fitness equipment and exercise options, including free weights, cardio machines, functional training equipment, and a variety of movements such as pushing, pulling, carrying, running, rowing, riding, jumping, slamming, holding, and breathing. Our facility features accommodating restrooms, water fountains, a mobility area, a cozy couch area for relaxation, a consultation area for personalized guidance, open gym areas for individual workouts, and dedicated spaces for our engaging group classes, all designed to enhance your fitness experience.

How do I sign up for a membership or a class at Modern Fitness?

To sign up for a membership at Modern Fitness, we encourage you to visit us in-studio so we can have a face-to-face interaction, get to know you, and apply any relevant discounts you may qualify for. However, if you prefer to sign up remotely, you can use the Mindbody app to make out-of-studio purchases and reserve your spot in our classes.
